This process involves determining the total power required, the duration of the required power, and the voltage of the generator.

Calculation of total connected load

Step 1- Find the Total Connected Load of the Building or Industries.

Step 2- Add 10 % Extra Load to the final Calculated Total Connected Load for the future consideration

Step 3- Calculate Maximum Demand Load based upon the Demand Factor

Step4-Calculate Maximum Demand In KVA

Step 5-Calculate Generator Capacity with 80 % Efficiency

Step 6-Finally Select the DG size as per Calculated value from the DG

Step 2- Add 10 % Extra Load to the final Calculated Total Connected Load (TCL) for future consideration

√Calculated Total ConnectedLoad(T.C.L)=333 KW

√10% Extra Load of the T.C.L  =10 x333

Final Total Connected Load(T.C.L)  =366.3 Kw

Step-3 Calculation of Maximum Demand Load

based upon the Demand Factor Demand Factor of the Commercial Building is 80%

Final Calculated Total Connected Load(T.C.L) =366.3 Kw

Maximum Demand Load as per 80%Demand Factor =80X366.3

Step-3 Calculation of Maximum Demand Load
