What are the functions and precautions of the fuel filter?

The engine injector is assembled from small precision parts. If the quality of the fuel is not up to the standard, the fuel enters the inside of the injector, which will cause poor atomization of the injector, insufficient engine combustion, decrease in power, decrease in work efficiency, and increase in fuel consumption. Insufficient combustion time, carbon deposits on the piston head of the engine will cause serious consequences such as internal wear of the engine cylinder liner. More impurities in the fuel will directly cause the injector to jam and not work, and the engine is weak or the engine stops working.
Therefore, it is very important to ensure the cleanliness of the fuel entering the injector.
 
The fuel filter element can filter out impurities in the fuel, reduce the risk of impurities entering the fuel system and damaging engine parts, so that the fuel is fully burned, and the engine bursts out with surging power to ensure the healthy operation of the equipment.
 
The fuel filter element should be replaced regularly according to the maintenance manual (it is recommended to shorten the replacement cycle on site such as bad working conditions or easy to dirty fuel system). The function of the fuel filter element is reduced or the filtering effect is lost and the fuel inlet flow is affected.
 
It needs to be explained that fuel quality is very important, and ensuring fuel quality is a prerequisite.Even if a qualified fuel filter element is used, but the fuel is very dirty, if the filtering capacity of the fuel filter element is exceeded, the fuel system is more prone to failure. If water or other substances (non-particulates) in the fuel react under certain conditions and adhere to the injector valve or plunger, it will cause the injector to work poorly and damage, and these substances usually cannot be filtered.
